Slocum 50

Brief Description

Named in honor of former late model driver Brent Slocum who tragically lost his life at 34 Raceway in 2005, thie Slocum 50 is the primary fundraiser for the Brent Slocum Foundation. The foundation provides college scholarships to first year college students. The race began as a Deery Brothers Summer Series before changing over to the current MARS/ALMS/Cornbelt Clash format in 2014. There has only been 1 two-time winner of the event (Bobby Pierce in 2014 and 2016).
